でもクロモリは硬いからねぇ。まぁやってみなはれ（笑）
ヘッド回りの改造は誤ると重大事故に繋がりやすいのでマジレスしときますと、
コロンバスあたりのねじ切り用ステアラー（ステ管）、ダブルバテットのチューブで厚みが１．５～２．３（２．１）ミリ程度あります。
スレッドレスのチューブに新規にネジ切り加工される場合は、ネジ山分だけチューブが薄くなるので注意が必要です。

そうなんですよね。
管の肉厚は大よそですけど1mm近く薄くなりますね。
クロモリでホリゾンタルにしようとするとスレッジレス（アヘッド）にしようとすろとカラーを3cm位入れんとアカンのでスレッジ＋アヘッドステムに出来たら固定も楽になるのではと思いました。
そんで試してみようと思ったんです。
とりあえずアルミのでネジ切りをやってみます。
