ご無沙汰です。
私、7年ほど近江八幡に暮らして仕事していました。
7年も暮らせば殆ど知り尽くし、スーパー行ってもTUTAYA行っても絶対に知ってる人に会う始末。
橋の件ですが、多分ｕｅｎｏさんの勘違いです。
近江八幡のお堀の上にかかっている端の撤去ではなくて川の上にプカプカ浮かせてある簡易の橋の撤去のことと思います。
私もはじめて聞いたとき勘違いしました。

この橋ですよね。
この船の橋脚？が河川法にひっかるって事でしたよね。
実物をみるより映像で見たほうが雰囲気ありました。
古い町並みを自転車でゆっくり回るのに良い感じがしました。
